A question to everyone that sees this, just so I can optimise this for 99% of cases:

• When tagging several pages at once, on average how many individual tags would you add to each page?
• When tagging several pages at once, on average how many individual tags would you remove from each page (or would you remove them all)?

For me, most of the time I think I'll be adding one tag to many pages, but not removing any.

Edit: And this might be a good reason to collect more usage statistics (assuming that you have it enabled). I could collect the number of tags you are adding, and number that you are removing, but no specific info (I don't need to know what the tags actually are, or which site, etc.)

More often than not I'll be adding a single tag to one or multiple pages. However, I can envision certain circumstances where it would be useful to be able to remove one and/or all tags from a page.

Yep, you'll definitely be able to do all of that. Main reason I'm asking this is so I can settle on a few default values for list sizes.
