Open files with STE

I would love to be able to open files with STE. I can explain this feature in two ways:

  1. If I save an STE file, I would like to later double-click on the *.STE file and for it to open up within STE
  2. I would like to be able to right-click on any file (say, *.txt for example), and select “Open with…” so that I may open it with STE

Don't think that's possible (due to limitations of Java, and Apple deciding to drop official support for it).

With a Mac though you can usually drag-and-drop a file onto the icon in the dock to open that file. I'm pretty sure that is possible… though of course, it's a Mac-only feature and therefore doesn't help Windows/Linux users.

Included page "inc:signature" does not exist (create it now)

If there's a specific file you want to open often, it's possible to create a script that will open that file in STE automatically. You'd have to know the filename beforehand though (and therefore doesn't work as well as something like "right click" > "open with…")
