When you click on the "Close File" button, it:

• Checks if the file has been saved, and prompts you to save if it hasn't
• Closes the current file
• Clears the editor and resets variables such as filename, filesize, etc.

So that's essentially exactly the same thing that a "New File" button would do, right?

I had this marked as done, but I just un-did that. If you didn't think it was obvious… then a lot of other users will be confused as well. And that needs to be fixed!
