I want to add this type of feature eventually.

Does anyone know of a really simple example as a starting point? I'm thinking that just normal BBcode (i.e. [b] and [url] etc) being converted into Wikidot code is one place to start, and then to move onto bigger ambitions such as translating source code from other wiki farms into Wikidot source code.

Has anyone used any other wiki farms extensively, and would say they have a fair grasp of the syntax (to help test)?

If you know the syntax for it… can you help to create a table for it?

Am creating this from http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Formatting

Can you think of any syntax that is not on that page that I should know about?
