I'd like to start with just the toolbar button text (and hover tips). Here's a list of words that need to be translated… if anyone could translate then re-post it back here, I'll try to get it added into STE.

Note: I am looking for just one language to add initially, and will use that language to create a translation file that STE can import the language from. That should make it easier to create and add languages yourself.

1) I made 2 years ago a big translation database - exact for every language the different strings in original and the new content.
For printout - the header of columns
for screens: the titel of fields (I have forgot the exact word for it - means the naming part of a "field" left side before the content.. (normally the header on Printout)
the HELP-text on screen displays
the Error messages ( numbered ?)
all this separate if used in different programs
all the concatenated "standard error messages" with variables between ( "this customer-number: " ##### " is wrong") has to be changed carefully - not to loose the variables.

2) I had started a http://localize.wikidot.com/ wiki to test and explain with such datzabase structures ( categories) the idea to implement on wikidot - bit from the team I got no reaction.

( I think they are a little be affraid what problems will start with foreign languages - thje whole project can run out of control…)

3) I would like to have your table from above as a source - can I reach it ?

Would be great if you could translate the text in the table! Would give me a good place to start working on this.

what is a horizontal rule?
( a horizontal line ?)
Than this should be
"HL"- "Quer-Linie"
Sometimnes I do not know the german related words…

Yes, a horizontal rule is the button that has a horizontal line on it in the web version, with the words "horizontal line" when you hover the mouse over it.

When this gets some more votes I will work on it then, and make German be the first language (other than English).
