Does anyone use the "save as TXT" function?

It would greatly simplify the code if I could remove this feature completely, and allow opening of TXT files only.

Open:

  • *.txt
  • *.ste

Save:

  • *.ste only

The question is: would this negatively impact anyone using that currently uses STE?

Edit: I am also planning to redesign how STE files are saved - probably giving the new format a different extension so that there are no conflicts later on. So the idea is to allow opening of TXT, STE and this new format… but only save to the new format.

I don't use it, just saving to .ste format is fine.

Nope. I've never used it.

I really only used "save as" for testing. As long as we can open text files with STE, I don't care about losing the ability to "save as…"

If I need to save Wikidot source as text, I have plenty of other options installed on my PC.
