(Edit, Permalink) I used to use it for accessing the API at University, but something's changed over at the network here and now nor does that work - but I cannot see the theme of any Wikidot site from campus :\ Therefore, the network tab is currently useless for me. If no-one else uses it, I'll remove it. So would the removal of that tab cause problems for anyone? Included page "inc:signature" does not exist (create it now) |

(Edit, Permalink) It's to allow people to access the Wikidot API from behind a corporate proxy - much like virtually all businesses and educational institutions use to separate their private intra-net from the Internet. It's a necessary level of security. The problem is, any application wanting to access the Internet from within that private intra-net has to jump through hoops just to get there. Passing through firewalls and the proxy I mentioned above. Included page "inc:signature" does not exist (create it now) |
