I really like the look of this page-based forum, but I find a few things annoying.

  • Can't edit a post/page I created to fix typos.
  • When replying to a post, I can't see the post I'm replying to reference it or copy text I want to quote.
  • Email notifications just show "so and so edited the page at…" (we need this wish implemented!)

I'm not sure what the answers are. I'm really not complaining. I'm just stuck in some old habits that I'll have to change when using this type of forum!

Was that there all along? If so, sorry for missing that. If not, thanks for adding it! I dug around using /edit/true/noredirect/true to fix earlier typos. (If there's a hard way to do something, I'll find it!)

Yes, it was there all along :)

If you didn't find it, then it's not obvious enough for a new user to this type of forum. How would you suggest the edit button be used? Should it have it's own image like the 'new post' buttons, or should it be moved, … ?

I like the subtlety now that I know it's there. Maybe a slightly different, but still subtle, color will make it just obvious enough.
