Highly recommended download. I told you there'd be bugs in v1.12 :) Hopefully I've caught them all and there aren't any more major problems in this release.

This is just a bug fix release, no new features:

Version 1.13 (04 June 2010)

Numerous bug fixes (tagged with "(Bug fix 20100604)" in source code)
Bugfix: Since v1.12, choosing "Save" worked like "Save As"
Bugfix: Since v1.12, the statistics dialog didn't detect the filename or filesize
Bugfix: RTS*: Files were always marked as 'unsaved' even after saving
Bugfix: RTS: Closing an edited file incorrectly made a newly opened file 'unsaved'
Bugfix: RTS: Opening a file did not ask you to save the current file first

^{* RTS = Remember-to-save dialog, which asks if you want to save an unsaved file before closing it.}

I've found some more bugs in this one :(

I've fixed them in the copy I've got… but I'm not going to release the update yet because there's another feature I've half-finished that I'd rather do first… and release it all at once.

Here's the changelog for finished features of the next version so far:

Added: File chooser now allows you to filter STE and Text files
Bug fixes (Bug fix 20100605)
- Bugfix: When closing a file the status bar said that it was closed "without saving", even if you did save first.
- Bugfix: When you create a new document and save it, the program didn't remember the filepath and kept showing the "Save As" dialog to ask for a new one.
- Bugfix: Filesize was still only working if you opened a file. Now it works for new documents as well.

Bug summary: Opening documents works fine, creating a new document causes the above-mentioned bugs.
Work around: Save your file (File>Save As), close it (File>Close), then open it again (File>Open).

And it's a good idea to get into the habit of saving anything that you'll only use with STE to use the "ste" extension, rather than the "txt" extension.

And a little teaser for the feature I'm working on right now: STE finally lets you customise it! :D¹

Okay, have just spent a few hours (ever since last post) trying to get this to work how I'd like. I give up :)

Have reverted most of my changes and the list of changes should now equal what I posted above. Will release it now and put STE away for a few days while I ask some people about the problems I'm having. It just refuses to do what I want it to do! :)

Well, nothing I mentioned here. It was the feature that I didn't mention (but posted a teaser about) that I had huge problems with. Got it working now though, plus more than I originally planned to do for this release :)
